Today is the opening reception for my solo exhibition at The Museum of Printing History! They have a great publicity machine and the show looks great. It was hung properly and they took the time to make changes in the lighting.
LIghting is so important!
Putting together a show like this is a lot of work and you must be prepared to respond to what ever they need you to do for publicity purposes, price lists, inventory lists, accompanying displays ect.
You will probably be asked to contribute a print to their collection which is a good thing, because then you can say your work is in a museum or gallery collection.
Stay calm and be nice! Enjoy your accomplishments.
